Post-traumatic stress disorder affects the entire family, not just the person who experienced the event. Veteran’s Day has just passed, and the holidays are upon us. These are times when families come together and, often, are forced to deal with the fallout of one family member’s traumatic bombshell. In this blog on healmyptsd.com, author Christal Presley shares some of her insight on the matter. Christal is the founder of United Children of Veterans and has recently released her book, Thirty Days with My Father: Finding Peace from Wartime PTSD.
